Canada's Role: Activities to Fight TB
Canada is committed to the 2000 Announcement of the G-8 Okinawa
declaration of the goal to reduce poverty and diseases of poverty, including TB by 50%
by 2010.

This TB Control laboratory in Peru uses equipment,
funded by CIDA, to help diagnose tuberculosis in
screening patients.
